The Linen Closet is all about spaces that have a historied, global look by adding pieces that are steeped in texture, color and pattern and with each piece telling a story. For 27 years, I have been curating eclectic pieces for my own home and for the homes of over 4000 satisfied clients.
The fun of the find
My journey into finding unique pieces began when as a pre-teen I asked my mom to take me antiquing so I could find a treasure with my babysitting money.
The 1800’s peg wooden doll pictured was the result of that shopping trip and she has been a treasured piece in every home since.
The passion for scouring thrift store finds for my own home prompted me to open The Linen Closet in 1999 on eBay as one of the early adopters of the platform. On that platform I have over 4100 sales with a perfect customer satisfaction rating.
Twenty-seven years later you’ll still find me making the rounds of my favorite thrifts scouting out the unusual and beautiful for my home and yours.
When I’m not thrifting, I’m digging in the garden, spending time with my two grandchildren, traveling with my husband and enjoying the relaxed rhythm and beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
